Argentina boasts an extensive forest landscape, encompassing 33 million hectares of native forests and over 1.2 million hectares of tree plantations. The nation's forestry wealth is particularly concentrated in the Mesopotamia region, where the provinces of Misiones and Corrientes account for 64% of the plantations.
These plantations are primarily composed of conifers (58.9%), eucalyptus (24.9%), willows (9.8%), and other species (6.4%).
